Diane Dragone

Artistic Director and founder of The Kennedy Dancers, Inc. since 1976. She is certified by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Education as a Teacher of Vocational Arts/ Dance. She taught special education at Hudson County Schools of Technology. Performer, Teacher, Choreographer for Regional and National Broadway Tours and a North Jersey Dance Company. Frequent guest teacher at several grammar and high schools and universities. Executive producer of award-winning Dance Vista cable television program, now in its 25th season. Artistic Director/ Choreographer for The Kennedy Dancers Repertory Company. Also, Diane teaches ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and belly dance classes at Kennedy Dancers’ Studio.

Eli Cano


Eli Cano holds a BFA in Ballet from Texas Christian University. Eli has studied with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and at The American Dance Festival in Duke University. He has performed choreography by Robert Battle, Mark Dendy, Dance China NY, Eli is active as a dancer for The Kennedy Dancers and Calpulli Dance Company. His film and television experience include “Gossip Girl,” “Law and Order SVU”, and original HBO movie “The Normal Heart.” Eli lives in New York City.















Kat Reese


Kat Reese grew up in Eatontown, New Jersey, and began dancing at a local studio at the age of three. For fifteen years, she studied and performed a range of styles, including modern, ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre. From there, Kat went on to attend Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. In 2014, she graduated summa cum Laude with her BFA in dance, after working with numerous renowned teachers and guest artists including Doug Elkins, Stefanie Batten Bland, Brian Brooks, and Manuel Vignoulle. Since then, Kat has performed professionally for numerous modern dance companies and choreographers in New York City. She is currently a member of The Equus Projects, directed by JoAnna Mendl Shaw, and is also a founding member and rehearsal director of Monteleone Dance, directed by Joe Monteleone. Kat also enjoys teaching children and adults of all levels in private studios and as a guest artist in high school dance programs around New Jersey. She is having a great time in her first year teaching for The Kennedy Dancers.



Diana Sanchez  


Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Diana has completed one semester at Montclair State University. Her dancing journey began as a student with The Kennedy Dancers, Inc. Inner City Youth Junior Dance Program progressing successfully into her becoming a professional dancer with The Kennedy Dancers Repertory Company and dance teacher at The Kennedy Dancers studio, where she was named ‘Best Hip-Hop Dancer’ in 2011. Through a project partnership with The Kennedy Dancers and the Boys & Girls Club of America, Diana taught dance to children. Additionally, Diana has five years’ experience in physical therapy and has an Associates’ Degree in Health Services. Currently, she is auditioning for the Brooklyn Nets’ Brooklynettes Dancers and is teaching dance at The Kennedy Dancers, Inc., in Jersey City.

Riley O'Rourke


Riley O’Rourke, born in Richmond, Virginia, she grew up doing both musical theater and competitive dance; eventually earning her B.A. in dance and choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she fell in love with modern contemporary dance and established a kinesiological and exploratory approach to dance in all its forms and with all ages. She most recently moved to New York City. We welcome Riley to The Kennedy Dancers!
